Paromomycin has an antimicrobial spectrum of activity similar to neomycin, but its primary therapeutic uses are for the treatment of protozoa, including _Leishmania_ spp., _Entamoeba histolytica_, and _Cryptosporidium_ spp. It also has activity against a variety of tapeworms, but there are better choices available for clinical use.
Paroxetine may be beneficial for the treatment of canine aggression, and stereotypic or other obsessive-compulsive behaviors. It has been used occasionally in cats as well.
