唾液腺切除術適用於唾液腺囊腫（Sialocele/Ranula）、唾液腺腫瘤或慢性唾液腺炎。下頜唾液腺與舌下唾液腺最常受累。手術需同時切除受累唾液腺與引流管道。
貓亦有適應症但頻率較犬低。
