生殖細胞腫瘤，含有多種組織類型（外胚層、中胚層、內胚層）。罕見於犬貓。多為良性成熟畸胎瘤，切除後預後佳。
Queens are induced ovulators; pseudopregnancy is less common than in dogs. Pyometra can occur after exogenous progesterone administration. Mammary hyperplasia (fibroadenomatous change) is common in young intact or progestin-treated queens and is self-limiting after OHE.
Pyometra is a common emergency in intact female dogs, typically occurring 4-8 weeks post-estrus during diestrus. Ovariohysterectomy is the treatment of choice. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) is nearly universal in intact male dogs over 5 years of age.
