Lotilaner is an isoxazoline that selectively inhibits arthropod GABA-gated chloride channels. Same mechanism as other isoxazolines: ingested by blood-feeding parasites, causing hyperexcitation, paralysis, and death.
Treatment and prevention of flea (C. felis) and tick infestations in dogs and cats. Available as Credelio (lotilaner) and Credelio Plus (lotilaner + moxidectin).
