Inhibits janus-kinases (particularly JAK1), which act as signal transducers that are activated by IL-31 and other cytokines. Elevated IL-31 levels are associated with pruritus in humans and dogs.
For the treatment of pruritus associated with allergic dermatitis in dogs. May increase susceptibility to infection and demodicosis.
